Workshops

Our workshops are designed for both current yoga teachers and dedicated practitioners who want to dive deeper into specific areas of yoga. These specialized sessions offer a focused learning environment, allowing you to explore aspects of yoga that are not always covered in regular classes or teacher training programs.

Workshop Topics Include:

  • Advanced Asana Techniques: Focus on the alignment, breath, and mental focus needed to master challenging poses such as inversions, arm balances, and deep backbends. These workshops often include partner work and hands-on adjustments to help you progress safely.
  • Pranayama and Breathwork: Learn to control and harness the power of your breath to deepen your yoga practice, improve concentration, and cultivate inner peace. This workshop introduces advanced breathing techniques and their therapeutic benefits.
  • Meditation and Mindfulness: Explore the different methods of meditation, from guided visualizations to silent sitting practices. Learn how to incorporate mindfulness into your everyday life and teaching.
  • Yoga for Special Populations: Discover how to adapt yoga for different groups, such as children, seniors, athletes, or those recovering from injury. This workshop covers the use of props, modifications, and specific sequences to meet the needs of these populations.
  • Yoga Philosophy: Delve deeper into the philosophical roots of yoga, studying texts such as the Bhagavad Gita or the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali. These workshops offer a broader understanding of the ethical and spiritual aspects of yoga.
  • Anatomy and Biomechanics: Learn about the functional anatomy of the body in relation to yoga. This workshop covers how the muscles, joints, and connective tissue work together in asana practice and how to prevent injury.

Our workshops are suitable for both those looking to deepen their personal practice and those wanting to enhance their teaching skills. They are a great way to gain Continuing Education credits if you are already a certified yoga teacher.
